Phils win 2nite and then get Petitte on 3 day rest and then who knows in a game 7. So, even though it looks over I’m not confident. The one thing I do know is you can’t pitch Hamels again or Lidge for 3 outs in 9th.

I cannot beLEEve that you have chosen the path to the Dark Side and proclaimed them done. You disappoint me. It looks as if they are no longer YOUR beloved Phighten Phils. It is also obvious that you have become a sterilized, card carrying member of “the media” and no longer a fan. Next year, when some bright eyed intern is excited to be part of another playoff run, will it be you who utters the words “I hope they do not win as it will only make more work for me.”?
I cannot be sure what has cast more clouds on this day…the Phils being down 3-1 or the fact that you have crossed the line?

3 straight just leaves no margin for error. But, as a gambler, I make the Phils favorites in games 5 & 6. Game 7, CC will be a slight favorite. I don’t see it-he hasn’t exactly dazzled the Phils and he’ll be over 350 pitches in 8 days, alot even for the old timers, let alone a fat guy. So, I say, ye Romes o’ little faith, have no worries as this is heading back to NY and our boys are very much alive.
